Body, Depression and Anxiety

Life can be overwhelming. It can be hard to stay connected to body centred practices when we are feeling depressed and anxious.  But our body is still there, providing a constancy that can support us in difficult times, if we only know how to connect with it.

In this 15 minute podcast, Matthew describes the ways in which our body can be there for us, including some simple practices that can help us access the wisdom it provides.

Thank you for your wisdom Matthew. Starting from where we are rather than looking for the nearest escape. This resonates with my vocal practice and vocal teaching. A good reminder for the day-to-day. And oh yes, leaning against the wall, so much better than bouncing off it.

It’s certainly a time we could all use a little help in this area!
